<br />6.4.12 EXHIBIT L -Reclamation Costs <br />13. The reclamation cost estimate will need to be adequate to cover the cost of reclamation for <br />the maximum disturbance expected including the pit excavation at its maximum size, plant site, <br />and slurry wall installation (either 100% or 20% option). The Division will also require an <br />itemized cost for equipment mobilization demobilization, and an indirect cost of 25% for the <br />entire project. Please respond. <br />6.4.19 EXHIBIT S -Permanent Man-Made Structures <br />14. On page 6 of the mining plan, the applicant proposes setback distances from a variety of <br />permanent man-made structures. However, on December 12, 2001 the applicant provided a <br />written commitment to stay in excess of 200 feet from man made structures as part of their <br />mining until a slope stability analysis or agreement with the owner of the structure is obtained. <br />Just as a reminder, any stability analysis and proposed setback distances provided after the <br />amendment decision date will need to be submitted as a modification to the permit. Please <br />comment. <br />Once again, I will look forwazd to your response on or before March 1, 2002 to allow adequate <br />time for review before the Mazch 12, 2002 decision date. Rule 1.8.1 states that changes and <br />additions to the permit application must be filed with [he Division and the County Clerk and <br />Recorder. The applicant must also provide the Division with an affidavit or receipt <br />demonstrating that the change or addition was filed with the County Clerk and Recorder no later <br />than the close of business on the day the change was filed with the Division.
