Long <br />Division Director <br />Listed below aze adequacy review comments on the above-captioned amendment application. <br />The decision date for your application is scheduled for March 12, 2002. Therefore, I would <br />appreciate a response from you on or before Mazch 1, 2002. Review comments received from <br />other state and federal agencies aze attached to this letter. Please be advised that your <br />amendment application may be deemed inadequate and may be denied on Mazch 12, 2002 unless <br />the following adequacy review items are addressed to the satisfaction of the Division. <br />6.4.1 EXHIBIT A -Legal Description & Location Map <br />1. Page 1 of the amendment application form indicates that the originally permitted acreage will <br />be reduced by 2.5 acres. Please clarify the location and/or legal description of the 2.5 acres to be <br />eliminated from the origina152 permitted acres. The 2.5 acres to be excluded may also be <br />depicted on a revised copy of Exhibit C -Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Map. (You may also <br />wish to submit this information as a formal request for an acreage reduction in accordance with <br />the requirements of Rule 4.16.1). Please respond. <br />6.4.4 EXHIBIT D -Mining Plan <br />2. On page 6 the applicant indicates that the slurry wall will be located at a 50 foot offset from <br />the center line of Brighton Road on the east, and that the top of cut prior to slurry wall <br />installation will be located approximately 40 feet from the center line of Brighton Road to the <br />
