However, it looks like the drill roads take off from
Old State Highway 133. Does Bowie need to get a permit from CDOT to do this? It also looks
like one or two of the proposed alluvial well locations may be within the right-of-way ofi Old
State Highway 133. Is this true? If the answer to both questions is no, you can submit the
request as a minor revision. If the answer to either one of the questions is yes, I would want to
talk to Sandy about this, due to the fact that it involves the public road. Please let me know.
-----Original Message-----
From: Jim Stover [mailto:jestover@bresnan.net]
Sent: Tuesday, August 26, 2003 7:52 AM
To: ]oe Dudash
Subject: New Gob Pile
Joe:
BRL needs to perform geotechnical drilling for the proposed new gob pile. The attached map shows the
road alignment and hole locations. We plan to install three new alluvial wells. All work will be on BRL
surface. Can this be handled as a minor revision? New roads are shown in green. Drilling will be on the
roads, no drill pads required. Approximately 0.9 miles of road required, 1.3 acres of disturbance.
Jim Stover
9!5!2003
