Cattany <br /> Acting Division Director <br />Re: Proposed Decision <br />Permit Renewal Application No. 4 (RN-4) <br />Blue Ribbon Mine (Permit No. C-1981-04'>) <br />Dear Della County Commissioners: <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology is proposing to Approve a renewal <br />application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by MINREC, Inc. on May <br />20, 2002, for the Blue Ribbon Mine. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of [he first publication of this notice by the <br />Division in the Delta County Independent. <br />The undergound mine is located approximately 8 miles northeast of Paonia. The pemut area is further described <br />as follows: <br />Portions of Section 2, Township 13 South, Range 91 West; and portions of Section 35, Township 12 South, Range <br />91 West of the 6th P.M. <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the Delta County Clerk and Recorder's Office.
