Box 3299 <br />Englewood, CO 80155 <br />Dear Sir or Madame: <br />As required by Rule 3.03.211) of the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board for Coal Mining, we wish to notify you that Colorado Yampa Coal Company (CYCC1, <br />29579 Routt County Road k27, Oak Creek, Colorado 80467, intends to submit a request <br />for final bond release for 164.3 acres of the Mine 2 operation (Permit C-81-071). The <br />mine is approximately 25 miles southwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado and the surface <br />owners are Cyprus Western Coal Company and Cross Mountain Ranch Limited Partnership. <br />The location and the boundaries of the operation are shown on the accompanying map, <br />which corresponds to the USGS Rattlesnake Butte and Dunckley 7.5 minute quadrangles. <br />CYCC is requesting final release of 164.3 acres of reclamation which was completed in <br />accordance with the C-81-071 mining permit between 1977 and 1983. Requested <br />amount of bond to be released is 532,860. <br />Written comments ,objections, or requests for an informal conference should be <br />submitted to the State of Colorado, Division of Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Room 423, Denver, Colorado 80203.
