Further, the Colorado Mined Land Reclamati n Act, 34- <br />32-101 ET S_~, C.R.S. 1973 as amended, only require that the <br />published notice be mailed, with proof of mailing dem nstrated, <br />"where possible" using a means "such as certified mail w'th return <br />receipt requested". (See C.R.S. 34-32-112(c)). As such the <br />attached receipt is adequate as proof of mailing, and sa isfies the <br />statutory requirements. <br />TELLER-PARK SCD COMMENT <br />1. In the last adequacy response Reclamation Resou ces, Inc. <br />(RRI) committed to applying two tons per acre of s raw mulch <br />during reclamation revegetation. This mulch is to a crimped <br />with a dozer using cleats on the tracks. The Division does <br />not consider dozer track crimping to be adequate. The straw <br />would not be anchored unless extended cleats were sed on the <br />tracks, The Division recommends that the straw a crimped <br />using a tractor pulled disc type implement design for that <br />purpose or use another suitable method to anchor he straw. <br />Please address. <br />RRI will commit to employing a disc type implement to enure proper <br />crimping. <br />SOUTH PARK RANGER DISTRICT <br />1.
