All reviews <br />and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated <br />thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations at the <br />Deserado Mine. The technical revision pertains to the construction of Sump <br />Dewatering Hole No. 6 (SDH tt6> process pond. <br />The Deserado Mine is located approximately ten miles east of Rangely, <br />Colorado, in portions of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11 and 12, Township 2 North, <br />Range 101 West, and Sections 21, 22, 23, and 26 through 36, Township 3 North, <br />Range 101 West of the 6th P.M. These tracts of land are shown on the USGS 7.5 <br />quadrangle map of Rangely NE. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public <br />inspection at the Town Clerk's Office at the Town Hall in Rangely, Colorado. <br />Written comments may be submitted to and additional information may be <br />obtained from the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303> 866-3567. <br />Sincerely, <br />Barbara L.
