<br />Oxbow Carbon & Minerals, Inc., P. O. Box 535, Somerset, CO, has submitted an application for
<br />a Technical Revision to the Division of Minerals and Geology, for its Somerset and Sanborn
<br />Creek Mines, Mining Permit No. C-81-022. The proposed revision modifies the reclamation plan
<br />for revegetation seed mix, nursery stock transplanting requirements, eliminating the riparian
<br />designation for the reclaimed Lower Hubbard Creek site, adjusting sampling techniques and
<br />adding a species diversity standard. The mine site is located north of the town of Somerset, CO.
<br />The North Fork of the Gunnison River is located south of the town of Somerset. The mine permit
<br />areas are located on the U. S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Bowie and Somerset Quadrangle
<br />maps.
