Section 780.18(b) Continued Revised June 13, 1984 <br /> <br />by mid-1984; Pit q3 and the overburden stockpile area - by <br />the end of 1990; and all haulroads, surface facilities - by <br />the end of 1991. <br />Special stipulations imposed by BLM on Jackson County <br />related to the recent relocation of Jackson County Road 12E <br />and associated "old" road reclamation require that the <br />portions of the old county roads abandoned as a result of the <br />relocation be reclaimed within 15 years of the commencement <br />date of the right-of-way grant C-29939. The reclamation will <br />involve removal of blacktop, scarification, recountouring and <br />reseeding. Kerr Coal has entered into an agreement with <br />Jackson County which requires that the reclamation of the <br />"old" roads be performed by Kerr Coal. This agreement has <br />been included within this application as Exhibit 56, <br />Agreement between Jackson County and Kerr Coal. <br />Reclamation Timetable - Kerr Tipple Area <br />Kerr Coal anticipates that upon completion of mining and <br />tipple operations, estimated to be in mid-1989, all coal <br />crushing and preparation facilities will be removed and <br />reclamation efforts will commence. Removal of the existing <br />facility is expected to require approximately 30 days. <br />Regrading and topsoiling is expected to require approximately <br />100 days. Seeding is scheduled to occur in the Eall of 1989 <br />unless weather conditions prove too severe.
