We would like to request an extension to the time frame allowed for
approval of this MR. We believe an extension until January 31, 1996 should be more than
sufficient to resolve the few remaining issues.
We are concerned, however, that the Division is adding items to the review process
that are beyond the scope of the original application. Consistent with the scope of the
original application, we will forward a revised Map 12 and revised page 4.05-6 (per our
discussions) to resolve the issues pertinent to the Ditch.
The other items, such as the "permanent pool" and the release of water in
compliance with the State Engineer's regulations, are clearly not pertinent to this MR and
will be handled under a separate letter. We would be pleased to address any of the
Division's concerns regarding sediment ponds, however, we simply want to avoid extending
the MR-33 approval process for issues that appear to have at best, minimal relevance.
Please contact me if you have any questions concerning this matter.
Sincerely,
~~~ ~ ~
`games A.
