The responses address the
information requested in your letter of December 28, 1989, except not all of
the information could be presented on one map with a scale of 1"=500'. The
pertinent information showing the walkback road, buffer zone and prairie
falcon net site location is shown on Permit Renewal Map 5. The lease along
with the prairie falcon nest site is shown on Permit Renewal Map 1. The
information is presented on these two maps so that it can be incorporated
easily into CYCC's existing permit document.
As you can see by reviewing Permit Renewal Map No. 5, Eckman Park Mine Plan,
Roads, Power Lines and Facilities, and Permit Renewal Map No. 1, Permit
Boundary and Reclamation Liability the information requested in your letter
is presented on these two maps. A comparison of the maps will allow for the
reviewer to see all the requested features. The prairie falcon nest site
location is consistent with location information presented in Little Snake
Resource Area's letter of October 5, 1984 copy attached.
It is CYCC`s plan to start preparatory work as soon as possible, hopefully
by late January. This depends on when approval is received and the notice
appears in the paper. It is planned to use the road in mid to late
February. However, equipment or approval would delay this date. It is
planned to reapply the topsoil after mid July.
If there are further questions, please contact me at your convenience.
Richard Mills ®~
Supervisor; Environmental Affairs ° ~
RAM/dg SAN r ,. ®~~~
cc: bav3d..Berry RE N ~)
L'I ~1 i E ,~~
Rick Krueger "gtiJ ~fj
ATi~N ~ pSip~
c~RUs
