Surface water <br />1. For surface water features see Exhibit C. <br />2. The only watercourses aze seasonal gulches. <br />3. The only standing water is in the quarry pits themselves where runoff collects <br />4. There•aze no wells within 200' of the affected azea.,See attachment # 3 <br />5. There aze no springs, reservoirs, or ditches on the affected area or on adjacent land. <br />6. There are no aquifers on the affected areas or on adjacent land. <br />7. De-watering <br />a. A stormwater discharge permit will be obtained if necessary from the Colorado <br />Dept. of Health. <br />b. When de-watering is necessary anti-sediment bazriers will be constructed <br />downstream of the discharge point. <br />C. Water usage <br />1. Uses of water <br />a. Water will be used for dust control in crushing operations and, <br />b. In sawing operations. <br />2. Estimated water usage <br />a. 300-450 gals/day <br />b. 75-150K gals/year <br />3. Source of water for operations <br />a. Water will be drawn from springs adjudicated to the Buster family or from wells <br />on the ranch property. <br />D. No pollution permit will be required <br />E. As the proposed post mining use of the land is as rangeland, stockwater pond exemptions <br />will be acquired from the Division of Water Resources (DWR) for all waterholes left in <br />place as part of reclamation.
