(303) 434-]301 <br /> <br /> OFFICE & YARD <br /> 3199 D ROAD <br /> Grand Junction, Colorado 81502 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT <br />Non-Emergency Spill: <br />A non-emergency spill is a spill that does not create immediate danger to personnel <br />and/or the environment, the contractor has the ability to immediately control and <br />clean-up, and is less than 25 gallons. <br />This could include, but would not be limited to, any of the following: <br />• Diesel fuel <br />Antifreeze <br />Motor oils <br />Transmission fluid <br />Hydraulic oil <br />Various greases and lubricants <br />1. The owner will be notified immediately of any non-emergency spill. <br />2. All work in the area of the spill will be suspended until the spill is contained. <br />3. Contaminated material will be removed from the work area, and stored on <br />plastic for later disposal. <br />4. Small amounts of contaminated dirt will be stored in 55 gallon containers to <br />be disposed of properly. <br />5. Large amounts of contaminated material will be taken to the nearest disposal <br />facility permitted for petrochemical disposal, with the approval of the owner. <br />6. All handling and disposal of contaminated material will be in strict <br />• compliance with present EPA regulations. <br />AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER <br />
