Minor Revsion No. 187 Page 2
Drill hole EE-twin will be accessed along the same route as drill hole EE and will be located
appro~dmately 400 feet beyond site EE. If available and suitable, MCC will utilize a tracked drill
rig to minimize additional disturbance.
Wildlife and cultural surveys will be conducted at site EE-twin during the time in which surveys
are conducted for sites EE, FF, II and the new site Y (these holes are being permitted under
Minor Revision No. 183). A copy of the survey results will be forwarded to the Division as soon
as possible and prior to exploration activities at EE-twin. We expect to complete the surveys and
provide the report by June 14, 1996.
MCC requests the Division's assistance in completing a bond estimate for the reclamation of this
hole. Please consider the following information for the estimate:
Drill hole depth: 700 feet
Drill hole diameter: 2-3 inches
Maximum Pad size: 100' x 100'
Access road length: 400' to the east of EE
Please note that there will be no mud pit as the USFS has required a closed drilling system, so all
drill mud will be pumped into a tank. 1'he tank then will be pumped to sediment pond MB-2R or
MB-3, depending on volume and capacity available in the sediment pond. Reclamation of the drill
hole and pad will be as described in Minor Revision No. 183, currently under review by CDMG.
Please call if you have any questions regarding this application.
Christine E.
Permitting ;
ce: Kim Hood
Kathy Welt
~ie7.aa
