Long, Director <br />Approval <br />Western Fuels, Colorado <br />Nucla Mine (Permit C-81-008) <br />Transfer of Permit Rights <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division is approving an application for <br />transfer of permit rights for the Nucla Mine (Permit C-81-008) to Western <br />Fuels, Colorado. Permit transfer is granted pursuant to the Colorado Surface <br />Coal Mining Act 34-33-101 et. se C.R.S. 1973 as amended and Regulation <br />2.08.6 of the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for <br />Coal Mining. Previous permittee and operator was Peabody Coal Company. <br />The approval decision far transfer of permit rights is based on findings that <br />Western Fuels, Colorado, will conduct operations in full compliance with the <br />terms and conditions of the original permit and will comply with all <br />requirements of the Act and the Regulations promulgated pursuant to the Act. <br />
