C 4. Riooing. Coal Removal- __ <br />As outline in the Division's mid-term review, a cost of $4,606 x111 <br />be used for coal removal. <br />5. Grading <br />All grading and spoil leveling will be completed with a Caterpillar <br />D8-L. The equipment and labor costs have been separated by each <br />function (i.e. baekfilling, subsoil placement, etc.). <br />6. Sediment Control Removal <br />As outlined in the Division's mid-term review, a cost of $10,573 will <br />be applied for backf ill and grading of sedimentation ponds. <br />7. We11 Sealing <br />As outlined 1n the Division's mid-term review, a cost of $5,867 xill <br />be applied for xell abandonment and sealing. <br />8. Reveaetation <br />The permitted area bontains approximately 30 acres of disturbed area. <br />C using $427.65/acre, the total revegetation cost = $12,830. <br />9. Mobilization <br />As outlined in the Division's mid-term review, total cost for <br />equipment mobilization = $6,08,1.__ __ <br />Total direct reclamation costs = $191,394 <br />Indirect Costs <br />Public liability insurance @ .08x $ ~3 iTG 4 <br />Workmens compensation @ 6.92 payroll - 13,244 <br />Contractors performance bond @ 2.0$ - 3,828 ~ r~ <br />Engineering and bid specifications @ 5x - 9,570 ,+ <br />Contractors profit @ 10x - 19,140 ne <br />Total indirect costs - 45,935 <br />Total reclamation bond cost - 237,330 <br />Bond Review Summary <br />At present, there are no existing facilities at Colorado Coal Mine <br />No. 1. The office used during test pit mining was constructed for an <br />underground mining operation closed prior to the 1960's. <br />Discussions regarding test pit backfill volumes were conducted with <br />Dale Plume of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division. Dale <br />mentioned the volume calculations presented in the January, 1983 <br />submittal would be sufficient to calculate the bond amount for 1986. <br />Dale did not feel a pit survey was necessary. <br />~ ~?~8'Zv <br />
