(W WL), consultant for Occidental Oil Shale, Inc, received your October <br />31, 2007 letter concerning the Second Adequacy Review of the Logan Wash Mine, Permit No. M- <br />1977-424, Amendment No. 1. Your letter indicated that all adequacy issues with the exception of Issue <br />no. 5 were acceptable. in addressing Issue no. 5, DRMS has asked OOSI to submit a plan that provides <br />a methodology and timeframe by which the discharge from the retorts will either meet NPDES <br />discharge standards, groundwater standards, or cease discharging so the pipeline and pond can be <br />reclaimed. Your letter asks for plan submittal by November 2, 2007.
