A• of October 1, 1996, the flops were dry and no <br />further migrationwas obaerved.~ <br />2.) As of October 1, 1996, all vegetation and organic matter <br />originally contained on the slope appears to hav• been <br />eliminated due to the sl/de. <br />3.) An earthen berm has been constructetl •nd a new gradi.,q <br />plan has been developed •nd implemented to inaur• that <br />most of the stormwater •nd snow'. melt wilh b• contained <br />in the iepaundment area, and rill be regulated in such a <br />manner !o reduce the amount of rater in the aliE• •rea. <br />This should prevent further lubricatton and should help <br />stop the migration of th• mud elide. <br />4.) As of October I, '996, it appears that the elide is not <br />progressing any further dornhll} to the river. <br />~.) We will not treats any product or overburden stock- <br />piles the! could increae• the loading of the slide area. <br />6.) We don't plan on doing any mechanfcal support of this <br />area, to stop the slide.
