Long <br />Division Di~ecior <br />Tom, per your request I conducted an AVS check for the Trapper Mine Pern3it Renewal. The <br />system recommendation was CONDITIONAL ISSUE. Apparently, PacifiCorp the parent <br />company of Trapper Mining Co., was mining without a permit in the state of Utah. It appears <br />that it is under appeal or an existing settlement agreement which has resulted in a <br />recommendation to conditionally issue the permit. The OSM recommendation should be <br />available within a few days, and we can proceed from there. I will keep you posted. <br />I do have some questions that should be addressed by the operator; <br />On page 1-7, the operator states that Trapper mining Inc. is solely owned by Williams <br />Fork Company. The operator did not provide the officers and directors for Williams Fork <br />Company in the revised permit pages. Please have the operator update the permit to <br />include all officers and directors of Williams Fork Company. <br />2. A number of officers and directors aze listed in the AVS for Trapper Mining Inc., Salt <br />River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District and PacifiCorp, but are not <br />included in the revised permit pages. Trapper should provide an end date for all of the <br />officers and directors that are no longer associated with the three companies noted above. <br />Proof should be in the form of a resignation letter or corporate minutes.
