• Due to the irrigation requirements at the ranch, the irrigation ponds will be
• drained annually by approximately July, and ground water from the ranch
will be used to complete the irrigation season.
For purposes of regulatory oversight of long-term water management of West Pit
ground water, this permit amendment will cover the design and installation of the
pipeline and ranch storage pond. Thereafter, the permit will no longer regulate
activities at the ranch, but will remain in effect for the remainder of reclamation
activities within the original permit boundazy. The use of Wes[ Pit ground water for
irrigation at the ranch will be regulated under a land application permit issued by the
Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
This permit amendment affects primarily Exhibits A (Legal Description), C (Mine
Plan Maps), E (Reclamation Plan), F (Reclamation Plan Maps), G (Water
Information), L (Reclamation Costs), N (Other Permits and Licenses), and P (Owners
of Record of Surface and Subsurface Rights for Permit Area and. Adjacent Lands).
All other parts of the amended and revised permit remain the same.
i
DMG 2005.
