BANTA, Dlnctor August 2, 1989 John Hickman Western=Mobile, Inc. 1400 W. 64th Avenue Denver, CO 80221 Re: East Rigden Pit, Succession Approval, Permit No. M-79-097, Revision No. SO-02 Dear Mr. Hickman: On July 31, 1989 the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board approved the succe'ission of operators from Flatiron Materials Company to Western-Mobile, Inc. 'for this operation. Western-Mobile, Inc. is now the permitted operator of the East Rigden Pit, and as such, is responsible for all provisions in Permit No. M-79-097, as well as those specified in the Minerals Rules and Regulations. Flatiron Materials Company is relieved of all responsibilities concerning this operation (See Mineral Rules and Regulations Number 1.7). The Division would like to remind you, as the permitted operator, about a few things we feel are important: 1. All of the application materials, as amended and supplemented, are an integral part of your permit. They have been incorporated into the permit by r` reference.• We presume that you have a copy of all of these materials; thereifore, none have been enclosed with this mailing. We suggest that you keep a copy of the permit and the permit application at the mining operation as a reference for operating personnel, to help ensure compliance with the. terms of the permit. - 2.
