Cattany <br />, Division Director <br /> Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Keenesburg Mine (Permit C-1981-028) <br />Bond Release Application No. 2 (SL-2) <br />Dear Gentlemen: <br />In accordance with Rule 3.03.2(2) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined <br />Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, you are hereby notified the Division will be <br />conducting an inspection of the Keenesburg Mine on November 22, 2004 at 1:00 pm. <br />The purpose of the inspection will be to evaluate completion of backfilling, regrading, <br />and drainage re-establishment on approximately 52 acres within the mine site. This <br />inspection is in response to a request for a Phase I bond release on those lands (Bond <br />Release Application SL-2). If the bond release is approved, the lands will remain <br />covered by bond for Phases II and III reclamation (topsoiling and revegetation). The coal <br />and land within the coal permit boundary is private.
