Exhibit F - Rec~ation Plan
z
r-1- g~-a/
unaffected lands that will not be excavated, and to establish table quarry
faces. Safety of men and equipment will receive first priority, nd remains
dependent upon the capacities of the same.
In general, final topography for each phase will result in 3h 1v or flatter
irregularly shaped quarry floors, with stable yet staggered uarry walls
with micro-benches of a minimum of three feet in depth for a ery ten [10]
feet of quarry wall height, to the maximum depth of the depo it [75-1001
feet]. Irregular and rough surfaces will be encourage in ord r to reduce
geometric effects and enhance resoiling and general stabili of the site.
All benches will be soiled and revegetation attempted. Quar walls and
slopes may or may not be soiled or revegetated if they ex eed 2h:1v.
Regardless, the stability of final walls will be determined in ooperation
with the DMG upon completion of extraction activities. Adjust ents to the
final pit wall will be made jointly to the extent necessary to b tter assure
stability of the final wall prior to release.
Where reclamation and revegetation is attempted on pre-I w affected
lands [PL] and pre-law marginally affected lands (ML], the req irements of
Rule 3.1.10(1) will be waived, per Rule 3.1.10(8)(e). Where vegetation Q
is successful on pre-law affected lands and pre-law margin Ily affected ~;~
lands it shall provide credit to the operation under Rule .1.10(9) as
substitute lands for those areas where revegetation efforts fail on affected ~
lands (AL] to an equivalent extent as, where such lands have received a r'"~
minimum of two seeding/planting attempts over a five year pe iod [typical
phase upon completion of mining] during the life of the operati n.
All PL, ML, and AL land designations are shown on Exhibit C- art 2 - Pre-
Mining Plan Map. Reclamation will not occur on Pre-Exis ing Access
Roads [RR], also shown on Exhibit C-Part 2 -Pre-Mining Plan ap.
Reclamation phasing and final topography is not shown since it is
dependent upon the rate and duration of extraction activities, nd may be
adjusted in the Annual Report. Since all lands undergoing eclamation
are based on a per acre cost, all lands undergoing such recl mation will
be covered by a Financial Warranty based upon determinati ns derived
by the DMG in consultation with the operator, and reviewed nnually, at
the time of the required DMG Annual Report. Financial Warr my will be
based upon the total area of affected land reported on the folf wing year,
projected into the year ahead, and adjusted in the Annual R port of the
Division of Minerals and Geology [DMGI Regular Impact
M-85-210 -Rocky Road Quarry -Rocky Road Investment
