MANAGEMENT <br />MAR t) 2004 <br />Division of M.:!erals and Ceolo~v <br />The DMG's letter dated January 22, 2004 transmitted its adequacy comments <br />regarding the referenced technical revision. Following are Bowie Resources Limited's <br />responses to the DMG's comments and concerns: <br />Maps <br />Please match the legend coloring with the extent of subsidence based on mine plan line (red to <br />magenta in the legend) and the completed D-seam workings (light to heavy red in the legend) on <br />Map 27 of the submittal. <br />BRL -The requested changes were made to Map 27. <br />2. On Map 27, please modify the legend entry for Affected Area to include the Extent of Subsidence <br />Based on Mine Plan line, and add it about the Areas of Planned Disturbance. <br />BRL -The requested changes were made to Map 27. <br />3. Because the incidental boundary change involves the modification of the Federal lease, please <br />revise all of the appropriate maps to show the new permit boundary. <br />BRL -BRL is willing to amend all of the appropriate maps to show the new permit <br />boundary. However, BRL would prefer to wait until all details of this technical <br />revision are approved before the numerous maps are amended. <br />
