S. Lochhead
Eaecuirve Dveaor
Michael B. Long
Division Director
The Division and Terror Creek Company have agreed, in a telephone conversation, that the
information requested in the November 25, 1998 adequacy letter is not needed or has already
been submitted. After the adequacy letter had been sent, the company measured the volume of
topsoil stockpiled a[ the loadout and it came to 5243 cubic yards. As it turned out, this value had
already been submitted in revised pages for Minor Revision No. 17. Also, the operator did not
supply any additional information concerning the railroad spur and whether the railroad wanted
to keep it. Therefore, the reclamation bond still includes the liability for reclaiming the railroad
spur. Finally, the operator did not want to clarify the permit application on the issue of subsoil
being used for topsoil, believing that the petmit application already has enough information on
that subject. The Division agreed.
c:1wp6 I \[error\m3 memo
