BOX 958
Mee~Cer, CO~Orac~O sl6al
Pursuant to your request, White River Electric Association, Inc., would
like to suggest the following requir®ents for your proposed gravel
operation near White River Electric facilities:
1. Excavation near White River Electric power poles should be kept to
a minimum and not closer than fifteen Feet (15') from centerline of the
power line. Excavation away from powerline should not be greater than a 2
to 1 slope (See attached drawing).
2. Overhead devices for digging i.e. shovels, drag lines, etc. should
maintain adequate clearance to minimize contact with overhead power lines.
The described location for the gravel pit at Hiwa~y 13 and Rio Blanco
County Road 8 poses little conflict with White Aiver Electric powerlines
as the powerline runs near and parallel to Rio Blanco County Road 8.
If you have artiy further concerns regarding excavation or clearances please
contact us as soon as possible.
Si er ly,
` ~~~
R'chard R.
