PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Terror Creek Company, 1840 Highway 133, Paonia, Colorado, 81428, <br />has submitted an application for a technical revision to the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division, for its mining permit No. <br />C-83-059. The proposed revision will incorporate a revised <br />sediment control plan into the permit, revise the identification of <br />interests and make an incidental boundary change to the permit area <br />all in response to the Division's mid-term review process. <br />The Terror Creek Loadout is located immediately south of Highway <br />133 and immediately south of Bowie, Colorado. The Denver and Rio <br />Grande Western Railroad and the North Fork of the Gunnison River <br />are located south of the Loadout. The Mine permit area is located <br />on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Bowie Quadrangle map <br />within the following sections. <br />Township 13 South. Range 91 West, 6th P.M. <br />Section 15: E/2NE/4SW/4 south of State Highway 133 <br />and the NE/4SE/4 north of the railroad <br />and south of State Highway 133 <br />Containing 19 acres more or less. <br />The surface of the permit area is owned by Terror Creek Company and <br />the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad Company. <br />A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the <br />Delta County Clerk and Recorder's office, 5th and Palmer, Delta <br />Colorado, and at the offices of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Division, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado, 80203, <br />(303-866-3567. Written comments regarding this application may be <br />submitted and additional information may be obtained from the <br />Colorado Mined Lard Reclamation Division at the above address. <br />
