MANAGEMENT <br />On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, enclosed is an application for a minor revision to <br />provide for drilling three gob vent holes. The holes will be located over longwall panels <br />B-2 and B-3. <br />Right of Entry <br />The drill sites are located on surface managed by the BLM. Right of entry on BLM <br />managed land is, subject to stipulations, authorized by Federal Coal Lease COC- <br />61209. <br />Affected and Disturbed Area <br />The drill sites and 0.3 miles of new road will disturb approximately 2.4 acres. All of the <br />disturbance is outside of the affected area boundary. MR-58 approved one emergency <br />gob vent hole and 0.6 miles on new road for a total disturbance to 2.3 acres. The road <br />to the MR-58 gob vent hole was reduced to 0.5 miles which reduced the disturbed area <br />by 0.4 acres. Therefore, the total additional disturbed area will be 2.0 acres. <br />Cultural Resources <br />See Volume VI, Cultural Resources, items 3 and 11. <br />Access <br />Access to the gob vent hole will be up Stevens Draw from the mine site. <br />
