Initial and intermediate
sequential batch test leachates (al, a2, and bl) were analyzed for parameters contained in Table
C.
Analysis for Eh and dissolved oxygen on sequential batch test leachates was perfonmed on decant
samples collected and analyzed immeadiately upon opening test jars after completion of each
batch contact.
Table A: Waste Rock Characterization
Tota]-Sulfur, Pyritic-Sulfur, Sulfate-Sulfur, Acid Neutralizing Potential, Ca, Mg, Na, K, Al, Sb,
As, Ba, Be, Cd, Cr, Co, Cu, Fe, Pb, Mn, Hg, Ni, Se, Ag, Sr, Zn
Table B: Aqueous Phase -Full Characterization
Dissolved Oxygen, Eh, pH, Conductivity, TDS, Alkalinity, Ca, Mg, Na, K, HCO,, CO„ Cl,
SO,, Al, Sb, As, Ba, Be, Cd, Cr, Co, Cu, Fe, Pb, Mn, Hg, Ni, Se, Ag, Sr, Zn
Table C: Aqueous Phase -Short List
Dissolved Oxygen, Eh, pH, Conductivity, Alkalinity, HCO3, CO„ SO„ As, Be, Cu, Fe, Mn,
Zn
Total, pyritic, and sulfate sulfur testing was performed by Standard Labs, Inc. in Casper, WY.
Acid neutralizing potential testing, sequential batch testing, and analysis of liquid samples for
pH, Eh, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, alkalinity, HC03, CO,, and SO, was performed by
Chemac Environmental Services in Englewood, CO. Analysis of liquid san[ples for all
remaining parameters was performed by Core Labs, Inc. in Aurora, CO. Copies of original
analytical reports generated from this test work are included in appendix A.
TEST RESULTS
Results of analysis of analytical "head" samples of waste rock materials are presented in Tables
IA and 1B. Results generated from analysis of the site ground water head sample and sequential
batch test leachates are presented in Tables 2A through 2F.
CHEMAC ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES J August, 1995
