The suspense of February 28, 2001 is accepted. The Division of Minerals and
Geology has no questions at this time. Byron G. Walker
-----Original Message-----
From: MacDonald, Don [mailto:Don.MacDonald®coors.com]
Sent: Tuesday, January 30, 2001 5:59 PM
To: 'Byron Walker'
Subject: Technical Revision No. 33
Mr. Byron Walker
Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology
Dear Sir:
Based on our several meetings and discussions concerning corrections to this
Technical Revision, more specifically the changes to the Permit Area Map for
the Keenesburg Mine site, Coors Energy Company asks that a final decision
concerning the approval of Technical Revision No. 33 be further postponed
for a period sufficient to allow for the preparation and submittal of
clarifications and corrections to the descriptions as found in that map. As
you are aware, our discussions have resulted in the need to redraft and
rework portions of the map which are outside the normal scope of the aerial
survey mapping. The mapping Tirm has been contacted and is reworking the
photo information to provide the baseline for the rework. Terranext
believes that if the mapping firm's time estimate is correct, they can turn
the map back to us for review with you by about February 10. Text
adjustments are also being made, for your consideration.
W hile I am optimistic that we can complete this process by the middle of
February, I would suggest an extension to the end of the month, to make sure
everything is complete. Please contact me if you have any questions or
concerns.
Donald W. MacDonald
Coors Energy Company
