• FJCHIBIT G <br />WATER INFORMATION <br />The Coaldale Gypsum Operation is not expected to directly affect surtace or <br />groundwater systems in or adjacent to the mine area. The reasons for this are <br />as follows: <br />1. No surface water is found on or in dose proximity to the affected mine <br />land <br />2. The Water Table in the area is more than 158 feet below the lowest <br />elevation on the affected land. <br />3. There are no plans for water containment. Diversion, or change from <br />normal runoff systems during heavy rains or melt from heavy snows. <br />4. High porosity and permeability characteristics of the near surtace rocks <br />and soil in the area, results in minimal runoff unless subject to infrequent <br />heavy precipitation. <br />5.
