The mine plan is based on mining Copper Hill North Pit (See Exhibit C -Mine Plan Map, attached) and the Copper Hill South Pit during the first five (5) years or until the economic gypsum has been depleted. At this point mining will continue along the Senators Pit from the Southeast to the Northwest. Overburden mined and mine run material (screenings) will then be hauled and deposited in the mined out Copper Hill North Pit. B. Water Diversion or impoundment No plans for water diversion and impoundment of water on the Coaldale affected lands are scheduled. Due to limited amounts of water in the area, a low water table, high permeability, and an absence of a natural watercourse (other than Hayden Creak, which crosses the main haulroad, removed from the mining area), the Coaldale operation will have no appreciable affect on neighboring surface or subsurface water resources.. C. Size of areas to be worked on at one time In reference to the basic mine plan, per above, several areas must be worked concurently in order to meet product spec cations. The following outline summarizes the present state of types of disturbance in the affected land. Reference to the Mine Plan and Mining and Reclamation Timetable (See Table D 2, attadied) wilt show the progression of reclamation activities correlated with completion of mining and initiation of the Reclamation Plan.
