Your letter of November 11, 1999, Re: Permit Renewal #3 - Permit No C-84-063
Deaz Mr. Self:
Your request for extension of the proposed decision date for Minor Revision 27 (MR-27) until
December 15~' is approved. However, a decision on MR-27 is a prerequisite to a decision on
Permit Renewal Number 3 (PR-3). As such, a request for an extension on PR-3 is also required (a
proposed decision was scheduled for November 12, 1999). As we discussed by telephone on
November 10, ] 999, your request is also considered as a request for an extension for PR-3 (and
such a request was submitted in your letter of November 11, 1999). Your re~uest for extension of
the proposed decision date for Permit Renewal Number 3 until December 15 is approved:
The extension until December 15, 1999, for a.proposed decision regazding Permit Renewal
Number 3, will delay a fmal status of a proposed decision on the renewal until February 7, 2000,
The current permit expires January 13, 2000. As your permit renewal application was found
complete 180 days prior to the expiration date, your reclamation activities may continue beyond
the expiration date under the provisions of Rule 2.08.5(3)(f).
The information requested in the Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) letter of September
17, 1999 is required for the Division to make a decision on MR-27 (and in firm, PR-3).
As we discussed by telephone on November 10, 1999, the Division also anticipates(d), in order to
make a decision on PR-3:
Item 1: A revision to page 59, line 37, so as to change "An annual hydrology report will be
submitted to the Division after completion of the calendaz yeaz." to read "An annual hydrology
report will be submitted to the Division, after completion of the calendar yeaz, by the end of
February following.", or words to that effect. The purpose was to designate a date of submittal
[Rule 4.05.13(4)(c)]. Inclusion of this revision incorporates the provision of Stipulation Number 1
