West Elk Coal Company, Inc. III IIII IIIIIIIII III
Post O11ice Box 591
Somerset. Colorado 81434 999
Telephone 303 929 5015 "
January 31, 1990
Matthew S. The exhibit tables
contain as much information as I was able to locate on a few older wells, and
some wells we no longer monitor, about which Cathy had questions. The
first table shows which wells are currently monitored. These revised pages
should replace those in Exhibit 2.8.2.A.1 submitted previously.
Table 2.8.A.6 on page 2-562-12 was corrected by deleting well SOM-23-H-1,
as tt is no longer included in the current monitoring program (as approved by
TR #55). Pages 4-69, 4-70c and 4-72b were revised to clarity the statement
regarding minimum and maximum indicator parameter values contained in
WECC's computer files of monitoring data and utilized to indicate potential
affects of mining. These minimum and maximum values were not statistically
generated, but are the actual minimum value and maximum value for each
resource recorded during the pre-mining baseline monitoring program. In
addition to these text changes, WECC will provide in the 1989 Annual
Hydrology Report, the minimum and maximum values used for each resource,
the years, and the number of baseline data points recorded to obtain the
values.
4A1C0-E20~
