CI 26 to 36 inches; light brownish gray (lOYR 6/2) loam, grayish brown (iOYR 5/3) moist;
weak fine subanguiar blocky structure; slightly hard, friable, slightly sticky and slightly
plastic; 10 percent wbbles and sandstone fragments; calcareous; moderately alkaline; clear
wavy boundary.
C2 36 to 60 inches; light brownish gray (1 OYR 6/2) loam, grayish brown (1 OYR 5/2) moist;
massive; slightly hard, friable, 10 percent cobbles and sandstone fragments; calcareous;
moderately alkaline.
The A horizon has hue of 1 OYR or 7.5 YR, value of 5 to 6 dry and 3 to 5 moist, and chroma of 2
to 4. The A horizon has hue of 1 OYR or 7.5 YR, value of 5 to 7 dry and 4 to 6 moist, and
chroma of 2 to 4. Some visible lime concretions are found intermittently throughout this horizon
in many places.
