Fan Facility, Culvert Addition. and Balch Weigh Washdown
Dear Mc Gorhmn,
Twentymile Coal Company is requesting a minor revisions to permit C-82-056 as per the Field Decision Fomt -
Minor Revision of March 29, 1996. The modifications focus on [he followin,:
• pouring concrete as approved in TR-24 for the fan facility and associated structures,
• placing an 18-inch culvert on TCC shop access road immediately south of wash bay.
• placing a 48-inch culvert in ditch D-3 below existing 48-inch culvert,
• placing an I S-inch culvert on the road to the explosives magazines east of existing 18-inch CMP, and
• installing support poles and a pipeline [o route batch weigh washwater to Pond C.
The concrete pouring ar the fan facility does not require any changes to the permit or bond calculations. No changes
were made from the approved design in TR-24. Map 24 and Exhibit S, Table B have been revised to indicate the
locations of the new culverts. The I S-inch culvert a[ the Pond A road was previously approved under Permit C-81-
071, but was not installed or shown on Map 24. This culvert was also included on Map 24 and bond calculations
provided for removal. 'flte washdown for [he ba[clt weigh facility was originally slated to go to a sump in TR-20.
Due to space limitations, a drain line from the batch weigh facility ro Pond C supported by poles has been proposed.
Changes [o the text with regard to this drain line are provided in pages 2.05-16(aq and 2.05-I6(a2).
An estimate of bond for these projects is included in this revision and totals $2,100. TCC currently maintains
sufficient surplus of bond to cover this amount.
If you have any questions or require further information, phase contact me at (970) 870-2750.
TN'ENTYMILE COAL COMPANY,

Tavis D.
