Prior to the initial agreements with the University, the Flatiron Companies had planned to
donate an approximate 20-acre site within the 308-acre Flatiron Property as a gift to the
Women of the West Museum ("WOW"). The 100,000 square foot museum plans to
feature exhibit space, educational programs, and research regarding the role of all women
' in the American West. The WOW project is currently in its initial planning, preliminary
architectural design, and fund raising phases, and it is anticipated that the facility will be
constructed within the next three to four years. The WOW site was originally planned to
be located in the most northerly portion of the Property, adjacent to the interchange of
' U.S. 36, Foothills Parkway, and Table Mesa Drive.
1
1
1
