Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve a renewal application for coal <br />mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by Honeywood Coal Company on July 3, 2006 for <br />the Hamilton Mine. In accordance with Rule 2.07.4(2)(c) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined <br />Land Reclamation Boazd for Coal Mining, we are providing notice of this proposed decision. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Boazd within 30 days of the first publication of the public notice by <br />the Division in the San Miguel Basin Forum. <br />The surface mine is located approximately 3 miles southeast of Naturita, Colorado. The permit area is further <br />described as follows: <br />Township 46 North, Range 15 West, N.M.P.M. <br />Section 32: El/2E1/2 <br />Section 33: Wl/2, Disturbed areas in the Sl/2NWl/4NE1/4, <br />SEI/4NE1/4, Wl/2NWl/4SEl/4 <br />Township 45 North, Range l5 West, N.M.P.M. <br />Section 4: Portions of Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 11 & 12 <br />Section 5: Nl/2NE1/4NE1/4 <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the Montrose County Clerk and Recorder.
