Box b5 <br />Empire, CO 80438 <br />Subject: Henderson Qperations, Amendment AM-06 <br />vlining and Reclamation Permit M-77-342 <br />Dear Mr. Romig, <br />Division of Reclamation, <br />/Mining and Safety <br />Thank you for visiting me last week to review comments submitted by Grand County with <br />respect to the recent amendment submitted to the Colorado Di~~sion of D4inerals and Geology, <br />for the Climax 1lZoIybdenum Reclamation Permit (M-~7-342). <br />Grand County has na issues with the proposed changes that result in minor smapping~ changes. <br />However, we believe that Grand County does have the authority to administer authority for <br />water treatment facilities on property owned and operated by Climax Molybdenum Company <br />pursuant to the C.R.S.§ 24-6g.i-roi, Areas and Activities Designated as Aiatters of State <br />Interest.
