MINED LAND WILDLIFE STATEMENT/EVALUATION (Bevis d) <br />for limited i~act and select regular mi~applica ions <br />The following information pertaining to wildlife is pr~vided for <br />use by Mined Land Reclamation Board in their Consider tion of a <br />mining permit for: <br />t/Open Sand & <br />Wildlife Species List: <br />Antelope <br />Mule Deer <br />Turkey <br />Scaled Quail <br />Rabbit <br />Mourning Dove <br />Endangered/Critical <br />65} Sec 13, A1J1 Sec 23, <br />Coyote <br />Swift Fox Raptors (Tansient) <br />Various Nongame bird, mammal, <br />Species/Impacted: <br />None that we are aware of <br />Critical Habitats/Vegetative Communities Impacted: <br />None that we are aware of <br />Assessment of Impact: <br />Minimal due to it's location in dry rangeland, it's proximity t <br />and farm houses and the fact that part of the site has already <br />Fuel/machinery oil spills are areas of concern and should be gi <br />to prevent contamination of ground water. <br />Mine Reclamation Recommendations (include key species/ha <br />which restoration is designed): <br />I recommend that the pit be graded and sloped to 3:1 or less <br />and seeded with native grass species. Leaving several deprssio <br />of the pit may serve to collect water during wet periods and p <br />watering sites for wildlife.
