As discussed in the field, our approved rill and gully plan
allows for an average depth of downcutting of 36" over the length
of the gully, with measurements to be taken at intervals not to
exceed 20~ of the total permanent drainageway length. The survey
just recently conducted shows the lower section of PG 61-1 to have
an average depth of 9.86 inches downcutting, well within the
standards set forth in the permit. The attached copy of the field
sheets for the 1993 PG 61-1 survey show the maximum degree of
downcutting to be present in the lower-most segment of the
drainageway, as addressed during your inspection. Per our
commitment in the field, CYCC will maintain/modify the drainage in
this lower segment to address the downcutting issue, with the
realization that we are in compliance with the rill and gully plan.
Should you have any questions or comments, please contact me at
your convenience.
Sincerely,
~jy. i;~ r/!~
jMarcus A.
