On June 5, 1995, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your amendment application package
(AM-001) for the Bromley Lakes Pit, Permit No. M-87-049. Preliminary review determined that the
following items must be submitted before your application can be considered submitted and technical
Rule 1.6.2(ll(bl (Effective May 1. 19951: You must post a notice at the location of the proposed
mine site of sufficient size and number to cleazly identify the site as the location of a proposed
mining operation giving your name, address, and phone number, and stating that you have applied
for a mining permit with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Boazd. Your notice must also
state that anyone wishing to comment on the application may view the application at the Adams
County Clerk and Recorder's Office and should send comments prior to the end of the public
comment period to the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division, Room 215, 1313 Sherman
St, Denver, Colorado 80203.
After posting this notice you must provide a signed affidavit that such notice has been posted
according to the provisions of this Rule and submit the affidavit to the Division.
A sample of this notice and affidavit is enclosed for your use. Please be sure to place a copy of
the affidavit at the Clerk and Recorder's office.
You may amend the application by submitting all of the requested items. In accordance with Rule 1.8,
anew decision date will be established 90 days from the date of receipt of alf requested items. If you
have already initiated newspaper publication, you will need to republish notice which specifies the final
date for receiving comments is twenty (20) days after the fourth publication or the next regulaz business
day.
This letter shall not be construed to mean that there aze no other technical deficiencies in your
application. The Division will review your application to determine whether it is adequate to meet the
requirements of the Act after submittal of all required items.
