Walters <br />Salt Creek Mining Company <br />751 Horizon Court <br />Grand Junction, CO 81506 <br />Re: MCClane Canyon dine Permit Renewal, Permit No. C-80-004 <br />Dear Mr. Walters: <br />We have received your application for renewal of a valid, existing permit to <br />conduct coal mining in Colorado. Our initial review indicates that all <br />preliminary items required by the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation <br />Act, C, R. S. '34-33-101 et seq. have been submitted. Thtls, your application has <br />been deemed complete for tie purposes of filing on January 13, 1488. A.11 <br />review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations <br />promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of filing. <br />The proposed newspaper advertisement submitted with the application has been <br />found to be satisfactory. You should commence publication of this <br />advertisement as specified in Rule 2.07.3(2) of the Regulations. Proof of the <br />publication of the advertisement must he filed with the Division not later <br />than four weeks after the last publication datr. <br />A copy of the application, less confidential items, must be filed for public <br />inspection with the appropriate public office as specified by you on the <br />application form. Any subsequent changes or additions to the application must <br />also be made in this local government copy. <br />The staff is currently reviewing your application +.o determine whether the <br />items you have submitted are adequate in terms of meeting the requirements of <br />the Act and Regulations. Additional information may be required for purposes <br />of adequacy.
