Lochhead
Execwive Director
Michael B. Long
Division Dneclor
While conducting the Area 51W and 61 Phase I bond release inspection at Eckman Park
last week, October 7-8, 1996, I also confirmed that the work had been completed at
stockponds osp-c, 31-b, and 31-g, as per Kent's request. The spillways had been rip-rapped,
and deepened, which I documented in my Eckman Park 10/7/96 inspection report.
Mr. Koehler left me voice mail to correct my numbering designation. The map I used for
identification of the stockpond numbers indicated that the lower pond was 31-1b. This is
not correct and should be labelled 31-g. I also indicated in my report that sediment had
been graded out. This appeared to be the case when in actuality the side slopes had been
graded to conform to specifications.
The operator also submitted additional information to the Division regarding this bond
release application. Kent said that he will be finishing up this bond release so, please
forward this information on to him.
Thank you.
