This application reflects additional leases acquired to extend
life-of-mine of the current King I Mine. This application document
addresses all elements of the proposed mine expansion in one stand
alone package for clarity and ease of review. Where information from the
existing King Coal Mine (King I) and King II Mine and permit documents
is relevant, the reviewer is referred to those documents.
Please contact Tom Bird or Mike Savage if you have questions or require
additional information. We look forward to working with you and the
staff on the review of this mine expansion.
Enclosure: King I Mine Permit Revision Application package
c: Mike Savage, Savage 8v Savage Environmental
Sincerely,
Tom Bird
Manager of Coal Services
National King Coal, LLC
