Exhibit E RECLAMATION PLAN
The following amendment to the Reclamation Plan is numbered
sequentially for the purposed described in the Mining Plan text.
Currently the post mining land use is Recreation and Wildlife
which we propose to change to Developed Water Storage for the
lake area and no change to the wildlife designated areas. The
approved reclamation plans, including resoiling, revegetation
methods and species, will remain unchanged on the existing permit
areas. We will use the revegetation and resoiling methods
approved in the permit around the lakes.
AMENDMENT 2 - Final land use.
The proposed end use will change from Recreation to devel-
oped water storage for the lakes and wildlife on the areas along
the river. When mining is complete the sealed lake-area will be
filled with water and the above water area will be revegetated
using the approved plan.
In the existing permit area the lake slopes plan was to have
3:1 slopes from 5 feet above to l0 feet below and 2:1 from there
down. Because we are developing water storage and the lake
elevation will vary as the lakes are utilized they will be mined
3:1 from the existing surface level to the mine floor.
Reclamation Timetable
No change
Exhibit F -RECLAMATION PLAN MAP
The existing Reclamation Plan Map remains unchanged since it
shows how the site will look when reclaimed.
AMENDMENT 3 - New map exhibits.
Attached are two maps Exhibits F-1 and F-2 showing the
location of the slurry wall that will surround Longhorn Lake and
the northern part of Sharkey's Lake. We estimate that it will
take two years to complete the Longhorn Lake and 5 years for the
Sharkey Lake area. initially the slurry wall will be installed
around the Longhorn Lake, it will be stripped and dewatered.
Since these are the first two areas to be mined we feel providing
larger scale maps would help when reviewing this amendment. Once
these areas are done, plans will be made for the remaining lake
areas. A Technical Revision(s) will be filed once we know what
changes will be needed to update the groundwater impacts and lake
configurations for the rest of the mine area.
