<br />NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division has issued a proposed decision to <br />approve a technical revision to the mining and reclamation plans for the <br />Eckman Park No 1 & 2, Permit No. C-81-071, operated by Colorado Yampa Coal <br />Company, under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation <br />Act of 1979. The proposed technical revision (TR - 25) was submitted by <br />Colorado Yampa Coal Company, on June 27, 1989 for the Eckman Park No 1 & 2. <br />The affected area is located approximately 25 miles southwest of Steamboat <br />Springs, in Routt County. <br />The subject technical revision proposes the installation of a temporary access <br />road to topsoil stockpile 26/27, at the Eckman Park Fline. <br />Copies of the proposed technical revision are available for review at the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division office, 1313 Sherman Street, Room <br />215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any person who has an interest which is or may <br />be adversely affected may request a formal hearing regarding this proposed <br />decision. Requests for a formal hearing must be made in writing within ten <br />(10) days of this publication and shall state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br />
