Pursuant to the Rules 8 Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board published August, 1980, and pursuant to the Colorado Surtace Coal Mining Reclamation Act 34-33-101 et seq., notice is hereby given of the filing of an application for the renewal of a valid existing permit to conduct Coal Mining in Colorado. The application is for the existing Colowyo Coal Mine, Permit No. C-87-079 by Colowyo Coal Company L.P., 5731 Stale Highway No. 13, Meeker, Colorado 81641, w@h the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology, Colorado Department of Natural Resources, 1313 Sherman St., Room 213, Denver, CO. 80203. The subject plans cover Federal Coal Lease No. D- 034365, Federal Coal Lease No. C-35874, Federal Coal Lease C-29224, State of Colorado Coal Lease 596/135, and private fee coal and is located approximately 28 miles south of Craig, Colorado. The permit boundary is adjacent to Colorado Highway 13/789 (west of the highway), is bounded on the east by Good Spring Creek, on the west by Wilson Creek, and extends one-fourth mile south of the MoffaURio Blanco County Line. The permit area can be located on U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute quadrangle Map No. N4007.5-W10745(7.5 (Ninemile gap) 8 Map No. N4015-W10745/7.5 (Axial, Colo), and is more particularly described as follows: TOWNSHIP 4 NORTH.
