Box 591, Somerset, <br />Colorado 81434, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews <br />and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated <br />thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations at the <br />West Elk Mine. The technical revision is for an incidental boundary change to <br />incorporate approximately 67 acres in the area of Lone Pine Gulch; the <br />additional area encompasses an existing road. <br />The West Elk Mine is located in Gunnison County, approximately one mile east <br />of Somerset, Colorado. The area affected by this revision is described as <br />follows: <br />SW 1/4 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 17, and SE 1/4 SW i/4 NE 1/4, <br />SW 1/4 SE 1/4 NE 1/4 and S 1/2 SW 1/4, Township 13 South, <br />Range 90 West of the 6th P.M. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map <br />of Somerset, Colorado. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspec- <br />tion at the Gunnison County Courthouse, 200 East Virginia, Gunnison, <br />Colorado.
