~~f
I'
Kathy Welt
Sept. 26, 1986
page 2
the "approximate original contour" the surface will be steep (20-60
percent slope). It is expected that topsoil depth will vary during the
placement process because of equipment limitations in redistributing
topsoil on such a steep surface. A 24 inch topsoil depth will allow for
the maximum productivity and diversity of grasses and fortis over the
majority of the area. Areas Ml2re the topsoil depth exceeds 24 inches may
be used for shrub establishment, thereby maximizing the production of
shrubs over these areas and adding to the diversity of the entire area.
To accomplish this goal 32 inches of topsoil needs to be removed
from the area of disturbance where Delson soil occurs.
If you have any questions concerning this information, please do
not hesitate to contact me.
Si erR y
~~~
Richard F Harner
President
